Safeway stores in many states like this one in Arizona include facilities for selling gas. These busy locations are subject to the guidelines and state and federal rules regarding safety around the underground storage tanks that reside below these facilities. Training large quantities of temporary, hourly and contingent staff, across a large geographical area was a challenge.
In addition these employees are not provided with corporate email and credentials, this posed a challenge. Safeway uses Coggno’s Virtual Training Kiosk technology to solve it.
Using Coggno’s “VIRTUAL TRAINING KIOSK” technology, Safeway was able to purchase the relevant UNDERGROUND STORAGE TANK training they required, and enable employees to access it through one of managements’ laptops on their own branded website created for them by Coggno. Each individual employee was able to access the curriculum, complete the course, take the test, and receive a certificate of completion. Safeway Management buys just as many licenses to the course as they needed when they needed them, and continue to load licenses to the courses they need through their Branded Training Kiosk.
